A GOVERNORSHIP aspirant in Delta State, Ndudi Elumelu, has explained reasons for dedicating his aspiration to God with a warning to his supporters to be careful over arguments on his ambition. He said his reason for dedicating his ambition to God was to seek His divine guidance in the political journey.
Elumelu said this on Monday in Onicha-Uku, Aniocha North Local Government Area, during a sermon for the special dedication service in respect of his gubernatorial aspiration.
He warned his followers, especially the foundation members, to avoid distractions, remain focused and be mindful of their reactions to arguments from members of the public with regards to who becomes the governor of Delta State.
While assuring them that their efforts would not be in vain, as there is already light at the end of the tunnel, he thanked his foundation members for their steadfastness and promised that incentives would be made available for the coordinators to facilitate their task of mobilising the electorate towards the 2015 general elections.
Special prayer was held for the governorship aspirant for divine protection and wisdom in the task ahead. 10 branded buses and 30 tricycles were allocated to the coordinators in the three senatorial districts.
Rev. Fr. Ignatius Chigbo, Assistant Parish Priest, St. Michael’s Catholic Church, while delivering a sermon during the special dedication service, commended the wisdom of the governorship aspirant for committing the project into the hand of God, stressing that all successes come from God.
