Customs names new comptroller for Operations Unit

A new comptroller has been appointed by the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) for the Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone ‘A’, Lagos.
He is Deputy Comptroller Inuwa Abubakar Mohammed.
He takes over from Dan Ugo who has been redeployed as Controller, Risk Management at the Customs Headquarters, Abuja.
According to a statement on Thursday by Public Relations Officer of the FOU, Uche Ejesieme, before his new appointment, Mohammed had served in various capacities in the service having participated and headed special ad hoc assignments.
He was the Deputy Comptroller in-charge of Murtala Mohammed International Airport (Baggage Control), Ikeja, Lagos, as well as Deputy Comptroller overseeing enforcement.
Mohammed holds a B.Sc in Sociology from the Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto, and a postgraduate degree in Criminology and Security Studies from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
